I am now a blogger!

Okay so, I guess I am behind in the times. My lovely friend, Jennifer has introduced this to me. It seems like fun so I figure that I will try it. Today is the last day of the year 2008. So many things have happened this year. I turned 30, my hubby turned 33, Kylie (my baby) turned 7 and Mollie (my big girl) turned 9! This year has been met with optimism and we, as a family, conquered it all! Kyle started back to school after 12 years! I went back to work full time (and not at the girl's school). Both were exceptionally hard but we got through it together!
Mollie is doing wonderfully in school. I love watching how she changes into a young woman everyday. Kylie is also doing good in school. She was asked to go on a Gifted and Talented trip this year, even though she is only in 2nd grade). She will be formally tested in 3rd grade. They both make me laugh. Kyle is doing wonderful in school. I am so proud of him for the commitment he has made and is continuing to make through the rest of the time he has in school. I am proud because he is sacrificing so much so that our lives will be better in the future, he is not just looking at the short term picture. In one of his classes he had the top grade. He is working very hard to get good grades. Our future's look bright and I am proud of all the accomplishments we have made as a family. We are getting closer.
Christmas was a blast for us. The girls loved all their stuff that they got from Santa. I love seeing the smiles on their faces!
I got a promotion in October after only 8 months on my job. I like my new job. I am continually pushed mentally. I am constantly learning something new about the banking business. I like how my knowledge is growing. I can see this being my profession for a long time. I see alot of promise in my job. I hope to continue to grow in the new year at my position.
As the year draws to a close these are the things I am thinking about. I am truly blessed beyond what I could have ever imagined! God has sent this all to me but I am not sure why he chose me. I will continue to march forward into the new year with many more new blessings!
HAPPY NEW YEAR AND MANY BLESSINGS TO YOU AND YOURS THIS HOLIDAY!!!!!
